It's time us girls celebrated being single - and here's ourt list of reasons why you should be enjoying it!
While many of will love snuggling up with a man, there is life beyond having a relationship and us girls should remember that – so you should be happy being single!
Not convinced? Well here’s Funky Female’s list of the best things about being single:
1. One of the good things about being single is that you can do what you want, when you want – and there’s no one there to moan that they don’t want to go shopping or watch Desperate Housewives
2. You only have to wash your own clothes – no more stinky socks to worry about!
3. Another great thing about being single is you don’t have to tidy up their mess – no cups, plates, shoes, newspapers or mud draped round the house anymore.
4. You don’t have to nag like an old woman to get anything around the house done!
5. You can take control of the TV remote – hurrah! Double bill of Brothers and Sisters – the joys of being single eh?
6. You don’t need the mandatory takeaway each Friday night and you can enjoy a bottle of wine in peace without being asked if you are ‘going to drink that all yourself’. Sigh.
7. A great benefit of being single is you can catch up with your girlfriends whenever you like – so yes you really can spend all night on the phone if you like!
8. You can enjoy a good night sleep – no more snoring and you can have that double bed all to yourself too, bliss!
9. You don’t have to shave all the time, in fact, you can be as hairy as you like and no one cares (well apart from those who might have to look at your leg hair if you decide to wear a skirt!)
10. That long hot soak can really last all night if you like and without interruption!
11. One of the best things about being single is you no longer have to hide those shopping bags and/or credit card statements!
12. Oh buy perhaps our favourite reason for being single has to be the toilet seat is no longer always up when you go to the loo!
So girls, celebrate being a singleton and enjoy it while it lasts – besides Mr Right could always be round the corner!
